Hi, my name is Dina, I have successfully completed 2200 hrs at Makami college. I am passionate about massage therapy, and I feel blessed to be in this industry where I am able to help others feel safe and cared for while working on ways to help them manage their everyday stress and discomforts which is something we deal with on a daily basis. I believe massage therapy can help in so many different areas of our daily lives: it relieves pain, stress, improves circulation, sleep, leads to increase joint mobility and greater flexibility. Some modalities that I love working with are: deep tissue, Stretching and trigger points release.
I am very excited to meet you, and help you along your health and wellness journey one massage at time.
Heather grew up on a farm in southern Alberta.
She successfully graduated from CDI College with honours in 2015. She also became a massage instructor at CDI in 2021.
Before going to school for massage Heather was a sheet metal worker and welder.
Heather has also trained and completed and a barrel racer, and she is currently working on getting her personal training and nutrition certification.
When not working she likes hiking and camping in the summer or reading and just spending time at home with her family when it’s too cold to go outside.
Heather chose massage as a profession because she always believed in alternative medicine and believed it was a way that she could contribute while keeping her values.
“The most rewarding part of being a massage therapist is seeing everyone that walks into my massage room walk out feeling better than when they walked in. My favorite quote is “ Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you are right!”- Henry Ford.
